Imagine fleeing your homeland, leaving your belongings behind and arriving in a foreign land with only what you were able to carry. This is a reality for many of the families resettled in Spokane. World Relief relies heavily upon donations from the community to properly welcome these new arrivals by providing their basic needs.
World Relief accepts a number of new and used items. See below for a list of the most helpful donations.
Donations are accepted by appointment, which we prefer to schedule 1-2 weeks ahead of the donation. We ask that all used items be clean and in good, working condition.
World Relief Spokane no longer accepts clothing donations with the exceptions of shoes and winter coats. Other clothing can be donated to Mission Community Outreach Center, which supplies our clients with clothes. With the weather getting colder, we're also looking for small, indoor-safe space heaters.
Please do not leave donated items outside after hours or on weekends. These items we cannot use, and we have to pay to take them to the dump.
