Free Citizenship Classes

TUESDAYS at 6:30pm via Zoom

Due to COVID-19, we have moved our citizenship classes online via Zoom. Please register below or email LZanoni@wr.org to get the information for the class. 

In these free classes, you will learn U.S. History and Civics, and gain valuable knowledge of the citizenship application.

Why should you become a citizen? 

Becoming a U.S. Citizen is the path to full participation in our nation. Vote, travel freely, protect yourself and your family members from the possibility of deportation, petition to unite with other family members, hold a wider range of jobs, and have access to all of the rights, benefits, and responsibilities of a full member of the United States of America. Register for classes today!

Eligibility for Citizenship

In order to qualify for U.S. Citizenship you must:

  • Have been a lawful permanent resident for at least 4 years, 9 months AND be able to speak, read, and write basic English or

  • Have been a lawful permanent resident for at least 2 years, 9 months AND have been married to a U.S. citizen for at least 3 years AND be able to speak, read, and write basic English

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Schedule an appointment with our office if you have additional questions about your eligibility

*DO YOU HAVE A FOOD CARD, APPLE HEALTH OR SSI? WORLD RELIEF MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP FREE OF CHARGE. (FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS BASED ON USCIS GUIDELINES.)
