God’s Word has over 30 verses that speak directly of welcoming the alien (stranger) among us. As many churches are discovering how to live out God’s heart within their own communities, World Relief provides opportunities for the church to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting world. World Relief Spokane’s ministry to vulnerable people groups, namely persecuted refugees is the conduit for social action among God’s people.

“When an alien lives with you in your land, you shall do him no wrong.  The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself.”

- Lev. 19:33-34

World Relief is in the unique position to empower the local church to serve the most vulnerable among you.

Our vision is ‘in community with the local church, World Relief envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially and spiritually.’
